DESCRIPTION:On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus\, the Israeli Embassy in Portugal and the Portugal – Israel Chamber of Commerce\, in partnership with the EDP Foundation\, present\, from July 12\, the exhibition “Form and Light” by the Israeli photographer Yigal Gawze.\nThis is a photography exhibition depicting Tel Aviv’s “Bauhaus” architecture of the 1930s. Capturing the spirit of White City\, a UNESCO World Heritage Site\, it is based on the “Fragments of a Style” series of photographs. Focusing on fragments of buildings\, the photographs examine the adaptation to the city of the international Bauhaus style brought by European architects to the Mediterranean coast.\nThe show will be shown in the Generators Room of the Central Tejo (MAAT) until 2 September. \n
