SUMMARY:Exhibition "Form and Light"
DESCRIPTION:On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus\, the Israeli Embassy in Portugal and the Portugal – Israel Chamber of Commerce\, in partnership with the EDP Foundation\, present\, from July 12\, the exhibition “Form and Light” by the Israeli photographer Yigal Gawze.\nThis is a photography exhibition depicting Tel Aviv’s “Bauhaus” architecture of the 1930s. Capturing the spirit of White City\, a UNESCO World Heritage Site\, it is based on the “Fragments of a Style” series of photographs. Focusing on fragments of buildings\, the photographs examine the adaptation to the city of the international Bauhaus style brought by European architects to the Mediterranean coast.\nThe show will be shown in the Generators Room of the Central Tejo (MAAT) until 2 September. \n

DESCRIPTION:This year the World Choir Festival\, organized by the International Federation for Choral Music (IFCM)\, takes place in Lisbon from 27 July to 1 August. Representing Israel will be Moran Choir\, a choir of thirty children and young people who confirm the raison d’être of this initiative this year on the theme Voices Meeting for a Better World: affirming values such as friendship\, cultural tolerance and desire. of peace expressed with the energy of their young voices.\nMoran Choir performs:\nJuly 28th at 12h in the Town Square in Cascais and at 21h in the Black and Silver Room of the Estoril Casino;\nJuly 29th at 9pm at the Black and Silver Room of Estoril Casino;\nJuly 30th at 3:30 pm at the Gala Concert at the São Carlos National Theater;\nJuly 31st at 9pm at the Closing Ceremony at the National Theater of São Carlos. \n
